Scott Cooper

Manager Tax & Business Services

Maxim Private Advisory

I’ve been working as an accountant for 9 years and my biggest passion is definitely superannuation. With the government making such big changes to superannuation it’s important to liaise with our clients as closely as possible to ensure they’re on top of the changes and to give them peace of mind about their retirement.

I’ve also started to develop my skills as a public speaker and have been invited by the Association of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand to give speeches on specialist fields including superannuation.

A Brief History

Scott’s experience has focused predominately on all forms of ATO compliance and business advisory but his specialty is in SMSF’s. This is an area where he has a keen interest especially helping clients navigate the frequent changes by the Federal Government. He manages a team of accountants.

Scott is a keen sportsman and currently plays indoor cricket and basketball. He is a proud member of the West Coast Eagles. Scott is in the Guinness Book of Records, had a 1 second cameo role in Night at the Museum 2 and is a Scottish Laird.
